Students

Adam Peterson completed his M.S. in Biostatistics at Michigan in 2017 and is currently a PhD candidate. He is interested in functional and spatial statistical methods and enjoys playing ultimate frisbee. Jung Yeon Won received her M.S. in Statistics at the University of Michigan in 2016 and is currently a first year PhD student in Biostatistics. She is working on statistical approaches for data integration and to correct spatially correlated measurement errors in built environment datasets Kelsey Alexovitz received her M.S. in Biostatistics at the Brown University and is currently a PhD student in Biostatistics at Drexel University. She is working on statistical approaches characterize changes in the food environment near schools.

Faculty and Staff

Brisa Sánchez is Dornsife Professor of Biostatistics at Drexel University. She received her Ph.D. in Biostatistics in 2006 from Harvard University. Her research interests are in statistical methodology applicable to environmental epidemiology, and social epidemiology, and health disparities. Veronica Berrocal is an Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of California, Irvine. She received her Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Washington in 2007. Veronica's research focuses on developing and applying statistical models for data collected over space and/or over time.
Jeff Moore, M.S., is a Senior Statistician with our group. After many years in industry, he joined academic research, and joined B4SI in 2019.
